Who we are

In 2017 Puerto Rico suffered the onslaught of two hurricanes: Irma and María. As a result, thousands of homes in the country suffered damages and losses, both of property and of loved ones. Millions of dollars were raised to help these families, improve their quality of life and rebuild their homes. In addition to this, they were provided with assistance from the federal government, such as FEMA. In spite of these aids, there are houses and families that still need reconstruction and help, since they could not receive any of these previous aids.

That is the problem that we have observed, there are still many homes that for some reason did not receive the help they needed. This is why we have decided to create a solution for them. Through this program, minor arrangements will be made for homes in Puerto Rico, from cleaning, minor construction, doors, windows, plumbing, electricity, among others. In addition, we will work individually with each household to meet other needs that the family has, be it food, health, spiritual, emotional, etc.

"And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work."

Nehemiah 2.18

Why we do it

As a church and as a country we have a call to serve and help those in need. We do not look at whom, we only observe their needs and extend our hands. These people, like everyone else in the country, suffered from these atmospheric events, but they do not have the means to rebuild their homes and that is why we exist, to meet those needs.

We do it for all these people we help, for seeing their houses rebuilt and returning hope to their lives.
